Implement whistleblowing system
At the end of 2019, the European Union adopted the EU Whistleblower Directive (EU Directive 2019/1937). The aim of the directive is to guarantee an EU-wide standard for the protection of whistleblowers.
The Directive will be implemented promptly by a national Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG).
Companies with more than 50 employees and legal entities in the public sector must implement a confidential whistleblower system through which legal violations can be reported to a newly created internal reporting office.
With our whistleblower system, you implement the requirements of the EU Whistleblower Directive and the German Whistleblower Protection Act.

German Bundestag – Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) passed
On Friday, 16 December 2022, the German Bundestag passed the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG). Now the approval of the Bundesrat is still pending. The next session will take place on 10 February 2023. The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) is therefore expected to come in Q1 2023.
